This service operates under the Social Services branch of Ngaiterangi Iwi Inc Society. Our professional Counsellor specialises in generic Counselling. This Counselling Service is available to Individuals or Whanau groups.
What does this Service provide?
1. The role of our Counsellor (Kaikorero/Awhina) is to tautoko and work along side of you.
2. Counselling or Korero Awhina is an active process. It assists by helping you know and understand issues that you believe are there.
3. Counselling involves listening to you and respecting your korero, being supportive and non-judgemental.
Who can receive this Service?
Anyone who would like to talk and/or be listened to when no one else is there.
