Homecare Support
This service was established in 1989 and is a joint venture between Ngāi Te Rangi Health Services and the Bay of Plenty District Health Board. We provide homecare services as well as a number of educational and advocacy functions.
What does this service provide?
1. We help with personal care
- Showering
- Bathing
- Assisting in changing
2. We help with jobs around the home
- Vacuuming
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
Who can receive this service?
Our service is available to whānau with disabilities or whānau who are unable to provide themselves, or their whānau members with the necessities of personal care and/or home care. A needs assessment will help determine whether or not we can help you or your whānau member.
