Peaceful Warriors work to support Māori males

The service is Tikanga and Kawa based, supporting tāne and whānau along a journey of “Ko Wai Au” – Who am I? The taiaha within the Peaceful Warrior logo is sitting in a resting position known as “noa” showing the taiaha at peace.

This shows that all men have a warrior within. Peaceful Warrior aims to support and encourage a shift in thinking, that men can show strength in through knowing their identity in a peaceful way. This shift focuses on whakapapa, rongoa and relationships.

The criteria we work with is Mental Health & Drug and Alcohol Addictions.

Our target age is 10yr - 25yr olds. All ages ten and above considered.
