Riri Ellis BMS, MMS, Cert (Company Directorship), PhD | University of Waikato
Riri is currently the Treaty Settlements Manager. She has a small team of staff who work on the behind the scenes issues related to all aspects of Treaty settlements including mapping, research, communications, logistics and governance coordination. She enjoys this role and looks forward to concluding the negotiations and heading into settlement. She also has an interest in a range of different issues including Te Reo, community research and development, economic development, business development and health and fitness.

Tania Smith Senior Administrator | Communications Co-ordinator
Tania is of Ngāi Tukairangi, Ngāti Tapu and Ngāti Hangarau descent. She has years of experience in customer service and administration, and for the last 5 years she has worked for Māori organisations after 21 years with Fletcher Easysteel.
She is responsible for compiling the main administrative functions within the Ngāi Te Rangi Iwi Trust Treaty Settlements. She also oversees the printing and distribution of Tera Te Marama and Te Tari Tiriti newsletters. When it is time to send out the newsletters, you will often see her in the weekend working with her team of rangatahi, printing, folding and stuffing newsletters into envelopes.

Te Rāhui August Sutherland BCS | Auckland University of Technology GradDipTech (Secondary), Bethlehem Tertiary Insitute
He uri a Te Rāhui ō Ngāi Te Rangi, ō Ngāti Ranginui engari ko tona waewae matua nō Te Whānau a Apanui, nō Horouta waka.
Te Rāhui has a background in broadcasting and communications particularly in radio, television and print therefore she works in Communications for the Rūnanga. She graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a undergraduate degree in Communication Studies in 2004, and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from Bethlehem Institute in 2011. Te Rāhui has worked for Tangata Whenua Television, Ruia Mai, Waatea Radio and Creative Tauranga over the past several years and has been employed by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Te Rangi since 2010.
Te Rāhui provides a range of media tools to the Rūnanga from publicity material through to evidence documents for the Treaty Settlements Office. In the community, Te Rāhui is on the Board of the Tauranga City Art Gallery, a member of Te Roopu Kapa Haka o Ngāti Ranginui and committed to her marae.
Te Rahui and her partner Michael have a baby girl, Omaio.

Anaru Timutimu BMS University of Waikato
Anaru Timutimu provides contracted services to Te Runanga o Ngai Te Rangi, primarily in the Treaty Settlements area.
Anaru has over 15 years of business experience working for large corporate businesses both domestically and overseas. He graduated from the University of Waikato in 1995 and immediately worked in the area of information technology implementation and project management for large businesses. He has worked for a number of companies including Fonterra, Ballance Agri-nutrients, Bendon and NZ Dairy Foods and also Sky Television in the United Kingdom. In the last four years Anaru has provided project management and consultancy services to a variety of Maori organisations including Te Awanui Huka Pak, Tuhoe Establishment Trust and Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi.
Anaru is a current trustee on Ngai Tukairangi Trust and has been for the past seven years and is a co-founder of the Electronic Tax Exchange (ETX), an online provisional tax pooling business.
Anaru is married to his wife Huia and has two daughters Whetumarama and Te Rina.
